Nomen habens hominis post ultima fata relinquor.
Nomen inane manet, sed dulcis vita profugit.
Vita tamen superest morti post tempora vitae.
Translation:
I am left holding the name of a person after the last fate.
The useless name remains, but sweet life has fled.
Yet life survives death after a lifetime.
